Biography

DJ Lance Cunningham – House DJ based in Manchester

FORGED IN THE HEAT OF THE BEAT!

Lance has been DJing for 25 years. The first venue he hit the decks at was a small club in Bolton called The Academy, and he’s been in demand ever since!
Lance’s inspiration came from firstly listening to his fathers tracks from the age of five. Then he became inspired by his brother’s mixes from the age of tem, buying records from the age of thirteen and promoting his own DJ nights from the age of 18 onwards.

“Many a night I would be stood on the Wigan Pier dance floor thinking ‘they should have mixed something else in there’. So that’s what made me start. I wanted to take the knowledge that I had picked up on the dance floor into the DJ booth.” – Lance

“I like to play it funky, deep and dirty and throw in some Latino beats here and there.” – Lance

The style of music that Lance plays (and his passion) is House – the deeper the better! Lance has promoted nights all over the UK and Ibiza.
