Frequently Asked Questions about Booking Entertainment
We are a long established entertainment agency (est.2002- our website has been online since then too!) and) whose clients have included The Royal Horticultural Society, who we worked closely with almost a decade, booking hundreds of artists for the 5 day RHS Flower Show Tatton Park. Our artists have performed concerts with the world’s highest profile guests in attendance, including, HRH The Queen, The Duke of Cambridge Prince William and Nelson Mandela.
Over the years we have worked with numerous high profile celebrities who used Atrium as their agency of choice. We are very selective about which artists we place on our roster, and all are vetted carefully before they join us, once placed on our roster all are required to adhere to our strict standards and protocols. We choose only the most talented, professional and reliable artists, taking all the stress out of the process for you. So you can just relax when booking artists for your event, and look forward to the great time you and your guests will have.
Artists on our roster don’t tend to play at public events, most specialise in playing at private functions only, therefore it would be difficult to see them playing live before you book them due to access at private functions being restricted to private guests only.
However we do have excellent Mp3’s and videos on our website where you can listen to our artists playing live, and we hand-pick our artists individually from thousands of applications to join our roster each year, so you know they are the best in the business. Certain artists perform at the occasional gig which is open to the public, please do call or e-mail us in advance to check.
Yes you can, once you have booked your chosen act they will contact you a month before the event takes place to confirm all the appropriate and relevant details. Before this date if you send all queries to our office we will facilitate them in conjunction with your chosen artist promptly.
The songs you want the artist(s) to play can be chosen from their repertoire, which will be shown on their page on our website. The artist(s) will then choose the appropriate running order of the songs to suit the occasion.
Some artists provide this service for free and some provide this for a small extra charge. Certain artists have developed their setlist into a format which is dedicated to keeping your crowd on the dancefloor with no gaps in music and this type of setlist is less inclined to feature learned songs from scratch- however it always depends on the song itself- if you let us know in advance your chosen act will be happy to advise!
Most artists can perform within the threshold of the sound limiter if the sound level is set at 95 db or higher, but because room acoustics and placement of the limiter microphone can vary from venue to venue, drums may trip it out on the odd occasion. Therefore it’s best to discuss this with the venue, and ask can they give you assurances that the performance won’t be interrupted by sound or noise limiters, if they can’t give you that assurance it may be better to choose another venue.
Most clients like to browse our website over a period of a few days, deciding which artists they would like to perform at their event. When you have decided and want to make a booking, simply contact our office (0151 510 1410 sales@atrium-music.co.uk) to discuss your requirements in detail. Our booking process includes a state of the art secure payment server and electronic documentation. We issue a booking contract along with our Terms and Conditions of Booking to both Client and Artist.
Once you are happy with everything and you’ve decided to book your deposit will be taken through a secure online terminal. Our secure server accepts all major credit and debit cards; your information and details are completely confidential and safe. The remaining balance is paid to the artist(s) at the venue, prior to their performance.
