Ref: PD3 are a jazz trio consisting of Guitar, Double Bass and Drums. Within this tight structure they are able to perform a wide spectrum of material and styles, from Dinner Jazz through to Jazz Funk and include many of their own arrangements of traditional and contemporary classics. The setlist is always structured to suit the event and can be adapted ‘on the fly’ when necessary. The tight line-up is ideal when space needs to be optimised.

Influences and Style

This band have a vared repertoire and can suit every occasion with their inimitable style. Pete (Guitar) is influenced by both Pat Metheny and Jimi Hendrix, enabling him to smoothly switch from a wonderful Jazz sound to funky dancing music with ease. Watch the band adapt to your guests mood, beginning the evening with an entertaining mix of lively original tunes, then graduating to funky classics as your guests want to hit the dance floor!

This funky band have been reviewed by both The Guardian and Gigwise magazine, and have their albums distributed nationally by the biggest UK distribution company 'New Note'. They also frequently tour the UK performing all original material and have a legion of jazz fans. They have performed live with a diverse range of artists including The Stranglers and Boney M.
